Marketing Manager – Promotions & Merchandising – Trevose
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage development and execution of in-shop point-of-purchase materials and shop branding elements
- Evolve and optimize menu board systems and manage fulfillment needs
- Manage vendor partners to ensure best in class innovation, quality and cost/value
- Serve as merchandising expert inclusive of industry & competitors, and work with Rita’s franchisees to identify marketing needs and fulfill opportunities
- Integrate with cross functional teams (Ops, R&D, Supply Chain, Development), as marketing lead, to ensure effective promotion execution and communication
- Draft and deploy all franchisee and shop communications to support system promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Serve as marketing project lead for development and execution of mobile and facility branding initiatives
- Manage and oversee execution of brand and marketing partnerships, i.e. the Eagles and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation
- Conduct training with franchisees as needed
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in marketing or business related coursework preferred
- 3-5 years of marketing experience with food/QSR/multi-unit retail brands, agency or client-side, with focus on promotional execution and merchandising
- Strong project management skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment, enjoy multi-tasking, and have ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Physical Demands:
- Required to travel up to 10% of work schedule
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
