Marketing Manager – Promotions & Merchandising – Trevose

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage development and execution of in-shop point-of-purchase materials and shop branding elements
  • Evolve and optimize menu board systems and manage fulfillment needs
  • Manage vendor partners to ensure best in class innovation, quality and cost/value
  • Serve as merchandising expert inclusive of industry & competitors, and work with Rita’s franchisees to identify marketing needs and fulfill opportunities
  • Integrate with cross functional teams (Ops, R&D, Supply Chain, Development), as marketing lead, to ensure effective promotion execution and communication
  • Draft and deploy all franchisee and shop communications to support system promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as marketing project lead for development and execution of mobile and facility branding initiatives
  • Manage and oversee execution of brand and marketing partnerships, i.e. the Eagles and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation
  • Conduct training with franchisees as needed
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or business related coursework preferred
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience with food/QSR/multi-unit retail brands, agency or client-side, with focus on promotional execution and merchandising
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment, enjoy multi-tasking, and have ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Required to travel up to 10% of work schedule
  • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
